How common are rune levels?

FWIW, I have the elders of the clan as a mix of Rune level and senior initiate. So within the clan and known to the PCs are:

The clan chief: not actually rune level, but an Orlanth Rex init, which I give the same social status. Maybe he's an (ex-?) Wind Lord, I'm not sure.
Priest of Orlanth
Priestess of Ernalda
The Law/Lorespeaker: initiate of LM with plenty of ritual experience, but not a priestess. She tends to handle the Goodvoice role as well. The clan healer: CA initiate.

The clan weapon thanes include a Wind Lord, a Daughter of Vinga, a Sword and two senior Humakt initiates. All of these of course concentrate on the Rune Lord rather than Priest side of things.

Some of the older women, while not actually priestesses themselves, are recognised as being the best representatives of various Earth goddesses for ritual purposes, and similarly some of the men specialise in certain deities/aspects.

And the head of each bloodline, since they lead ancestor-worship type ceremonies, have some of the powers of a Daka Fal shaman, without actually, formally, being one.

None of my Rune levels clank around in huge quantities of iron. One iron weapon, yes, but any more is really unusual, and unheard of within the clan.
