Lovely. Reminds me of my favorite adolescent fantasy series ... Diane Duane ... "so you want to be a wizard". The absolute best combination of pagan polytheism and technology I've ever read.

This could help explain Leonardo the Scientist. And it would certainly give local Mostali something dire to do.
