I'm going to be starting up a Glorantha campaign in about 3 months time. I've tried it before, but I've never managed to do it properly; this time, I'm going to introduce Glorantha tidbits as I go, rather than expect my players to absorb it all at once. I've got the starting scenario picked out ("Regular Folks", which I grabbed off a website somewhere), and I've managed to get a reasonable collection of RQ stuff (plus King of Sartar).
But I've got quite a few queries. Firstly, does anyone know where I might be able to pick up a copy of Glorantha: Genertela, Crucible of the Hero Wars (the orange boxed set)? I can't find this ANYWHERE, and from what I understand it's almost a "must have".
Secondly, I note that Big Rubble is available from Wizard's Attic. Is this worth getting?
Thirdly, when are most Gloranthan games set? I've got King of Sartar, as I mentioned; is the game supposed to be set during Fazzur's overlordship, or actually after Argrath becomes King? (Surely not; the supplements I have show the Lunar Empire as much more powerful than that would suggest).
Fourthly, what rules are recommended? Normal RQIII, RQII,
PenDragon Pass, or some other variant?
