The quest is described in King of Sartar and you get to re-enact it in King of Dragon Pass.

The quest seems to have the following important stages:

1. Ernalda's appeal to Orlanth.
2. Fighting Gagarth and the Trolls and taking their weapons.
3. Orlanth and the Dark Woman.
4. The defeat of Aroka and retrieval of Heler.
