I agree that this is the best fantasy adventure movie made, closely followed by The Wizard of Oz, Willow, Princess Bride, and Legend. My roommate also likes Krull, and I think that the second Conan movie was OK too.

Crom is a fine version of Humakt. Normally rather distant, but interested in valor and combat.

Think of Air worshipping Bison Riders, but on horses, or just wind worshipping Pentans.

Not really. This was a civilized culture with sorcery and theism. The primitives are foreigners. You can compare Zamora to many of the Lunar Provincial regions.

He was apparently the warrior/priest of a (Stygian?) Snake Cult, but eventually became a mystic and made himself a demi-god to gain more power through direct worship. It is safe to speculate that he became the avatar of his snake god, and represented him in the world. In Glorantha this would make him a (Super)Hero.

They are most likely elite warriors of the same snake cult. The two lieutenants eventually become priests and leaders of many followers.

If you must place them directly into Glorantha, put them on the border
between the Kingdom of Ignorance and Pent. Conan is a tribesman from the
hills, Subatai is a wind worshipping Pentan, Thulsa and his followers
worship Dark Sun, Bloody Sun, and a Snake god. Zamora becomes the capital
of a province in Kingdom of Ignorance. It isn't a perfect fit, but it
could work.
