        Your definition of faith fails since there is more than enough evidence, simply none is conclusive. In fact much of the evidence is used by both side with different interpretations. Atheism requires just as much faith as theism, since both are frameworks for explaining the universe. The most fundamental questions can't be proved and faith bridges the gap of missing understanding.
