Excellent work. ;-) (I had to slap my fingers several times to prevent them typing 'cossacks' instead of 'Char-Uns', last post...)

I'd say so. You'll have to ask Martin what Correct Doctrine is regarding deploying them in groups short of a full regiment, but in practice it seems a pretty feasible (and indeed sensible, in military terms, if maybe not politically...) thing to do. Having some reprehensible bunch of horse nomads back at base is going to be handy for playing 'good cop, bad god' with the local yokels if things get ugly.
