Ha, ha, ha !!! Lust ! True, clean, fun sexual lust as an engine of war... I like that, shades of Helen of Troy coming in our beloved Glorantha, nice ! Very MGF. Who is this senior official, by the way ? (Fazzur is only interested in Hendira, so that rules him out I guess. Besides he is only a provincial, pshaw !)

Personally & more seriously, I would add another reason for the lunar expansion:

d) Yelm is the Emperor of the universe. Yelmgrandson Imperator has the Mandate of the Sky to rule all of Genertela. We, Dara Happans, are the chosen race whose destiny it is to subjugate & rule the whole sinful world. The Sun's daughter, the Red Moon, is only a Veil, an Illusion, a Mask, to protect the heathens from the full majesty of Yelm's glare. This time, we shall overcome ! Under the rosy sight of the Daughter, the mailed golden fist of the Father shall prevail ! Dara Happa rules !!!

Hah ! The Eighties ! The delightfully yuppy 80's of my youth ! I came of age in the decade of greed (see, greed again... ;). 1981-1990: from tree-hugging socialist Cold Warrior to full-blown (Hail Orlanth !) libertarian in ten great years that include the Day-the-Bloody-Statist-Twentieth-Century- Ended: 9 november 1989 !!! And all this in spite of Maggie & Ron, those two neo-socialists... :) ;) :)

[The Long Century, the XIXth (19.4.1776- august 1914); the Short Century, the XXth (August 1914-9.11.1989)]

(Sorry, I couldn't refrain... ;) No offense intended to those socialist fanatics out there... ;) (In a certain sense, I'm still one myself. ;)

Might they be the same ?!? ;o)
