'Battle of Iceland' reminds me of the Icelandic struggle to keep their national identity against Denmark trying to erase it. Especially since at the same time they were being decimated by smallpox, volcanoes, earthquakes and the poor growing that resulted.

Keep telling the stories although you can't go to Storm Home. Keep doing the rites even if nothing happens, just so that you don't forget them, and despite all your neighbours' converting to the Lunar Way. Etc. And a harsh winter.

Do Heortlings who die during the Windstop all wait in the Court of Silence until Storm Realm reopens? Or wander the countryside as ghosts? (and give the Lunars a scare?) Or disappear in the Windhole and never return?

>Winds = storm daimons, btw... Possibly spirits from Prax as well.

But those winds that aren't sucked into the Windstop, do they blow as if everything was ok? The Godlearners proved that Keraun comes from the Orlanth Cyclone. If Orlanth goes down, her winds should go down too. Yet she's a spirit.
