The nature of the Telmori in Sartar

Temertain's Telmori bodyguard, when on duty, are in wolf form. One assumes that they (the werewolves) have their wolf brothers (the pure wolves) with them when on guard?

Are they billeted in Boldhome, and if so how many do we suppose?

They live in Wulfsland. This is the former Maboder land that was ceded to Jomes after the Telmori campaign?

The Telmori more or less still inhabit the old Telmori lands yes? (in 1620)

if you play in the Chosen One saga, then please do not read further!!!!

...

The extermination of the Maboder is not covered in any grear detail. I have a couple of theories;

Although savage and apt to eating unwary humans, the extermination of the Maboder and the manner of it was singularly unusual, givent he context of Sartar at the time.

The Telmori must have been greatly offended. The events that lead to the unbridled murder are possibly;

The Maboder complicity with the invading Lunars

The shaming of the Telmori for their absence at the fall of Boldhome, preferably unjust.

The stoking of Telmori tensions by rebels, possibly including a young Kallyr. Kallyr apparently once made Sartars flame flicker. This may have been early in her career. If the Telmori were convinced that Kallyr had royal blood then it is not inconcievable they would be disposed toward her.` Jane?

A single event that galvanised the Telmori nation, possibly the public hanging/ flaying/ torture of a high ranking Telmori pack leader/s by the Maboder, possibly in revenge for a killing of a Maboder shepherd. Maybe the tale of the boy who cried wolf would be a good basis here?

Ideas/ corrections?

Regards

Rob
