I noticed that too.

Aren't there any inept, undertrained soldiers stationed in Dragon Pass? An underprepared group of young raiders?

But I do love the Silverflames. I see imperial stormtroopers ... lots of them (these aren't the ducks we're looking for ... move along)

I am coming to the conclusion that natural animals as presented in Anaxial's roster will pose no trouble for the average hero. Every beast they tussle with will have to be boosted by spells or the favour of a god or spirit.
