To an extent. I do allow players to "hold" unrelated actions, delaying their resolution such that their heroes may intervene to support another hero participating in the contest, but as far as I know this is a personal house rule and not the official stance.

I made a few suggestions along those lines, I believe in the "Scripting Contests" thread of several months' ago. Search the list archives and hopefully you will turn them up. If I had my original emails, I would offer to forward them to you, but I recently cleaned out my Sent Mail folder and no longer have them.
