I'm not sure I can see that; granted abilities have exact numeric ratings, but aside from that they can be as woolly as one likes. (And a sensible GM will let you "mutate" the exact tag in the light of developing understanding.)

The danger, it seems to me, with the implicit notion that HPs can have _any_ narrative meaning is that they end up having _no_ narrative meaning...
