Another possibility (or one that could be used in parallel) might be to define one standard "technical professional" keyword, which leaves one or two abilities blank and to-be-defined for each specific technical profession.

E.g., all technical professionals get "college education", "ignore/disdain non-technical people", and "write obtuse papers", along with two specialized abilities. For a computer programmer, those two are "program computer" and "consume vast amounts of caffeine"; a research biologist gets "use biotech lab equipment" and "ponder biology while you should be paying attention"; etc.

Sort of adds another layer of keyword onto the keyword scheme, but it doesn't seem too inappropriate.
