Or for extra credit, Doesn't Care...

I realize this is an old song from me by this stage, but it does sound like a case where one might want to take Otherworldliness with a caveat or two. An alynx's sorb might be strongly inclined towards theism, but I'm not sure if any living creature with a material body can be absolutely strictly 'pure' in any strong sense. If the moggy in question has a residue left after death that manifests in a spirit-like manner, I'd think the duck test applies.

I'm reminded of one of the scenarios in HQ, which specifically anticipates a 'wrong type of ghost' issue. So now we have three or four types of functionally identical ghost, but each Worldflavoured ? I'd think it was more logical to tag them by the nature and means of their manifestation, not necessarily assume that every animist in life leaves behind a Spirit, every god-worshipper a Theistic Ghost, etc. (Granting that a person's religious inclination in life is life to affect the likelihood and strength of such manifestations...)

Cheers,
Alex.
