Devotee access to feats

I have a question (or several :-) about the access that devotee's get to the feats of other sub-cults. In the rule book p118 it says: "... or can simply spend hero points to learn their [other sub-cults] magic." Any suggestions as to the definition of "magic" in this context. Does it refer to the affinity or individual feats?

If a hero learns a feat in a common affinity from another sub-cult (eg combat in various Humakt sub-cults), would the feat go in the hero's affinity or would it stay as a stand alone feat?

What about worshippers of a great god like Orlanth that have several aspects. Are the devotees limited to sub-cults from within their own aspect or can the heroes access all sub-cults?

Obviously all this speculation relies on the game allowing the hero to meet teachers from other sub-cults.
