This has been my experience. The player's don't mind losing coins. But when it comes down to actual, wealth, its amazing what sort of bargains people come up with -- our resident Vingan is going to be pulling guard duty for Joh Mith (hey, I liked him okay?) on his next trip through our lands in exchange for a break on some metal armour.

Yes. We have had this problem. I prefer to assume you have the kit you need for your social station. If you want more, you have to get it from someone else.

Reciting Epic Poetry, well..... Bring on the pipes.

Yep. Or as one person has done: Cheick their 'Prepare Expedition' ability.

Yep. That works for me. Or Just agument and let them buy from the increased total. If they pump themselves up high enough, they can get some things out of pocket change that they wouldn;t otherwise have gotten. But I'm here to play Hero Wars, not Bargain Hunter: A game of economomics. It gives me too many Traveller flashbacks (How much for a ton of vacc suits?).

Perfect. And amusing. Our group got stuck with tourist trash from RuneGate -- a bunch of big plaster-of-pairs Luck Runes. Our wives were not impressed.

(You traded how many cows for these magic beans?!?)
