Um. You haven't. I'd suggest checking the rules again. What I quoted was the game rules for Initates. Under rules for devotion it specifically mentions that devotees have NO such limits.

Sheng is a special case. A mystic who chose mastery of the world rather than transcend it. Fortunately, they are rare.
