Firstly, these are available only to devotees. Um, there's no 'whatever' between devotee and initiation as they are rather markedly different rules states.

Hopefully this example will help...

IF I was an Orlanth Adventurous HEDKORANTH **DEVOTEE**, I'd get Movement and Combat Affinties (and all their associated feats) and the Thunderstone Affinity (and all its associated feats) I would get the Storm feats since I'm a DEVOTEE -- but since I don't have a STORM Affinity, I get Direct Storm and Hailstorme as stand alone-feats and raise them like a skill. If I were to acquire a Storm Affinity, they would proabably revert to being mere feats based on my affinity

An initiate of Orlanth A Hedkoranth would get the three affinties and nothing else, since Initiates don't get feats.

(As an aside I will probably regret making, I would say that a good narrator would probaly let you take the points you put into them to raise raise the affinity -- you've got experence now. You'ren ot as good as you used to be with Hailstorm but you can do a LOT more now...)

Sure. That works for me. Quite well actually. I VERY sure that's something Gustbran smiths can do. =)
