The problem is that the word fumble conjures up images of spittig oneself with a sword -- a-la RQ fumble tables. Fumbles happen 1-in-20 in Herowars. When you fumble, at that point what we have to ownder is what the opposition rolled.

Fumble vs Critical = Complete Defeat - god's VERY annoyed Fumble vs Success = Major Defeat - god's annoyed

And so on...
