By comparison Saxon London had a population estimated as 10-12,000
so 11,000 for Boldhome would not seem unreasonable from a cultural
POV. The increase up to 1621 would make sense as more "civilised"
centralised rule can sustain larger populations - London was
approximately 3 times larger under the Romans and returned to that
level under the Normans.
The other towns are actually on the small side by comparison with
many Saxon towns but that may be a feature of the harsher Dragon's
Pass climate.
