While "Rastalulf's Saga" describes part of the quest for the Vanak Spear, the underlying myth is obviously *not* the same as that which Eringulf pursues in "Fragment 1645". The only thing which both quests have in common is the need to avoid becoming lost in the Underworld forever (both imply that the hero becomes lost for a time, but finds the path of his quest once again and is able to return to the mortal realm). There is naught else by which to compare the two.
