I must have missed this. thanks for hinting me at this. since I did not even touched a single WiP I always feel way behind all these discussions.

but Dodburdan is "just" another god of storm and husband of Ernalda & NOT the guy who killed Yelm, isn't he?

what about the sunstop?
wouldn't it be quite different for a heortling to remember " the hour of the fallen imperator to rebel against the compromise he himself made with Orlanth" or "Elmal himself protesting against the making of a new god by stopping on his way"?

[seems I know the answer myself - it's the latter one...]
