Whoah, Jeff, keep your cool please !!

I am 60-75 % in agreement with your position, but I think that you may have some sort of post-Gloranthacon depression syndrome leading to undue pessimism.

Please remember, both Martin and I have done a hell of a lot for Glorantha too, so play nice guy !!

Jeff, we love you, and thanks for all you've done, but please don't compare us to Star Fleet Battles dropouts. I fail to see how such comparisons can be morale-boosting ...

Frankly Jeff, you're the one who started suggesting that TR & ST were full of subcults that you'd never use, and implied pretty strongly that you hoped Issaries would never publish anything like that again.

You're completely entitled to your opinion, which I respect entirely, but it would be helpful if instead of accusing others you just told us, "Hey! This is what I want, and what I think best!" and helped us see your point of view without all of this useless hassle.

Glorantha has died already, what, 2 or 3 times ? 4 ? Greg ?

I personally would love to see more mainstream Glorantha books, but who wants to write them ? You volunteering ?! Great !

Go ahead.

I look forward to buying them, and seeing them conquer the market share Glorantha deserves.

Unfortunately, we are living in a world where evil forces are conspiring to destroy our welfare and reduce our disposable incomes to the minimum, whilst doing their darnedest to put us all into as strong a state of personal insecurity as politically feasible.

THIS is the real reason why Glorantha isn't selling too well, which has nothing to do with the sterile too much vs. too little detail debate.

IMO, if Glorantha is to succeed in the coming years, it must latch on to the collective psyche and not let go.

If Glorantha is to be dumbed down at all, then it has to make more easily decipherable statements about the nature of political power, and provide a fantasy mythological background to help us deal with the current WASP neo-imperialism.

Lunar invasion of Prax ?

Sounds like an interesting game background from my POV ...

Jeff, you're ranting.

Please, go to sleep, have sex, eat a beautiful steak dinner, go to the lakes, anything, but please calm down !!
