As Julian has noted, by setting up HeroQuestDaily, there is a need for a new mailing list. Somewhere between the beginners list and GD. I also agree with Jane that GD can at times be slow and cumbersome, but for me, the main problem with the GD is the amount of information thats not relevant to my game. Wading through lots of material that your not interested in is not fun.
Although i like to delve into the esoteria and background of
glorantha.
I am only really interested in the Dragon pass region. The GD is
filled with discussions about areas i, and i think most others, never
play in. For me these are mostly noise
Whats needed are mailing lists catering for specific regions, such as
a Manirian/Dragon Pass Digest, a West Digest, etc. that allow
room for both newbies and veterans to move from the main list and
discuss
those areas in a bit more depth without being laid low by vast
quantities
of information they will never use.
