OK - I've spent the last 20 minutes weighing up what I am going to do and I'm afraid my evil GM side won out over my good GM side. (I always like films with odd endings).

The Lunar Priestess is not the original one that the players saw before she was arrested. The original White Moonie was carted off to Pent Ridge. The Lunars decided to try and root out who was behind the White Moonie Plot and so substituted a real Lunar Priestess for the White Moon Priestess. As a by product they are hoping to get the opposition community to help focus on the Heroquest that will help seal the mariage between Pavis and the Red Goddess.

If the players are smart they might realise this part way through the quest. With a little spoiling this could be bad for the Lunars. If they don't realise this they will all promptly get arrested afterwards and told the horrible truth. Since my players are Gloranthan newbies I will give them hints something is not right. As a side issue I'm going to have the Priestess try and marry the Opilli worshipper to help symbolise the marriage of the Red Goddess to Pavis.

So my Heroquest will actually be seemingly supporting the White Moon, whereas it will actually be helping the Seven Mothers.

Gavin
