Who do current storytellers send offerings to? There you go.

A Hero, certainly. But I don't see much worship taking place.

Seriously, I seem to remember various Invocations just before the telling of a story in KoS that refer to the Talking God (who I'd always assumed to be Issaries) and/or the Muses.
