Purely on a mundane level it would put a priestess of the Red Goddess on the city's governing council.

On a mythical level it would also change history, making it a lot more difficult to remove Lunar influence from Pavis because it had always been there. Of course there would be nothing to stop another heroquest to prove it wasn't the Red Goddess at all but someone else.
