I'm not aware that Arroin ever did it, but don't quote me on that...
I suppose as the peasant god, it makes sense that he'd be the most put-upon, working for whatever annoying king-god currently has the upper hand in any region. Then that god gets thumped and moves on, and a new king-god shows up, gives Lodril a thumping just for form's sake (and to make sure the taxes come in), and things settle down again.
