The central Heortling mystery as described in the initiation rituals only applies to men. Women have their own mysteries, but there is no woman's equivalent of Heort. Women may (or may not) experience the Unity Battle, but they do not experience the Second Son and the Star Heart. They probably do not experience IFWW, but then again maybe they do.

There is not a female "version" of the initation - it would be the women's initation. Different mysteries, different rites.

Vingans get their own initiation rites (which take them down the storm path), but they don't go through the Heortling male rites.
