I don't think we literally recognized Kangharl, but it's pretty easy to deduce who is behind the "king mask." Just like we knew he didn't have all the true regalia, because the Black Spear is hidden. And we didn't recognize "and company" though we could tell they were foreigners and not members of the Storm Tribe by their appearance.

We think it's unlikely that Kangharl would be able to recognize us as individuals. I guess it's possible he could make similar deductions. But Brenna's Bad King Urgrain Stories is only 2W (so she's not famous for them), and I think this sort of claim is moderately common, so she's probably off the hook.
