I always found it a bit odd that Barntar was completely separate from Orlanth. Same with Asrelia/Ty Kora Kek.

Mind you, I never had much of a problem with it, but given how Orlanth seems to have a ginormous number of subcults for a fairly small population, including ones that overlap such ostensibly separate gods as Issaries, Heler, Rigsdal, and others (IIRC) - it's always a bit surprising to find one that he doesn't overlap.

So I wouldn't be TOO surprised to find a Barntar subcult of Orlanth somewhere. It seems (at least in Sartar/Traditional Heortland) that Orlanth expanded to the point where he was almost all-encompassing of all male roles everywhere.

Is that true further north, in the Alakoring regions? I'd say no. Or, if it was post-dragonkill, I'd say it has slowly drifted off as Orlanth lost to the Red Goddess. There, many of these overlapped subcults simply don't exist as Orlanth subcults anymore (or in any significant numbers).

That's a YGWV and a half, I think. :)
