Yep. What I'm describing as a "snap-ritual" is really just using a magic ability or something, sans ritual. That is, I'd imagine that when people think of doing an opening, they assume that there will be an attendant ritual. But I'd allow an "instant opening" with no ritual bonuses just using the normal abilties and augments. Some powerful folks can pull it off (and with a HP, it's positively common from what I've seen). Same with my example of a ritual to bind a spirit. Can be done with no ritual if absolutely neccessary, but this would be the exception to the rule.

So, to answer the poster's question, that'd be the number of hours that the rest of the bonus indicates, plus any for any extra time that somebody takes to do the ritual. I'm not sure if the chart indicates such a bonus or not, but I'd certainly give a bonus to a ritual that's done so carefully that it takes ten times as long as the minimum requirement.
