This would be so in my Glorantha, yes. Although it's certainly possibl that it varies on a case-by-case basis.

I would say yes. They're part of the religion, regardless of what form they might take.

You do to learn symbolic sight (at least among the Malkioni), but not the others. Although a liturgist's Venerate ability also functions like Symbolic Sight, and you don't need to be concentrated to learn that.
