Hi Nick!

Well, I'm working on the Pavis book right now, and Jeff, Neil and myself will most likely shift heaven and earth to get it out ASAP! Next on my list is Fronela (for MRQ) and I'll be co-ordinating with Trotsky, who's working on the Men of the West series for HQ to ensure consistency.

I think your WoG comment is actually quite relevant. It seems to me that that list could bridge the gap between the Mongoose Glorantha afficionados and the HQ community; I think you're right in that the audiences are divided, and something needs to happen to bring them together. If that could be achieved, then the promotion of Glorantha would certainly be easier, and the Gloranthan community as a whole become more integrated. I know that some of those who post regularly on the Mongoose boards subscribe to WoG but I don't think its nearly enough. Same probably goes for WoG and this list's regulars looking at, and posting on, the RQ boards at Mongoose. I know that Second and Third Age Gloranthas are different beasts, but Second Age has, in just under two years, established itself pretty well and has a very healthy development plan for the next few years (I know, because I'm developing it). There's a lot of good material in the MRQ Glorantha books that can be ported across to HQ - and vice versa. Dara Happa Stirs, for instance, would arguably run *better* using HQ simply because of the epic nature of the campaign.

As to how WoG bridges the great divide... I don't know. Perhaps it needs some proselytizing. I think we'll be doing a fair amount of that at Continuum where there will be both MRQ and HQ fans in pretty reasonable numbers. There's also a considered drive to ensure that the MRQ Glorantha books and HQ books maintain continuity - part of the reason why I'm on board - and I think that that sort of approach is an excellent way to create a cross-party interest in Glorantha. Only time will tell (and more product out there, of course).
