Okay then,

I never said Tarshites "hate" Elmali. I thought they would "prefer" them for political reasons.

But there are a lot more Catholics in Florence than in faraway Copenhagen...

Tell you what, I'll quote my sources -

On Sat, 08 Apr 2000 Peter Metcalfe said:

"Aggar has major problems with Rebels (holed up in Kree Mountain amidst the Autumn Mountain range). General RoanUr is in charge of crushing it but has gone insane and uses chaos extensively to subdue Kree Mountain. He's highly connected so he can't be recalled. There's a story in Tales #16 with more details."

Of course rebels or chaos creatures would not think to attack SDTs...

On Thu, 12 Aug 1999 Peter Metcalfe said:

"Because Trolls were kicking arse bigtime in Aggar then."

And Trolls are famous friends of Yelmalio...

On Thu, 4 Jun 1998 Peter Metcalfe said:

"[Aggar] is the wildest & least civilized which is not quite the same thing as 'most troublesome'. Sartar is a more troublesome province than Aggar at the moment. Its lack of civilization (in lunar terms) is due to it being a remote dead-end. The only places one can travel through Aggar to are Talastar and Dorastor, neither of which are desirable locations."

Talastar and Dorastor would never dare to raid their neighbors...

from Different Worlds, Apr 1983:

"Aggar (50% Orlanthi, 50% Lunar) Population 250,000. A rough land of craggy hills and steep valleys, mostly untamed. Its hilltops and frontiers are still occupied by Orlanth-worshiping barbarians who regularly exert their surly independence. The valleys are ruled by the Lunar king whose loyal subjects include the lowland farmers, the small populations of the cities, and the merchant class."

That surly, independent Orlanthi value peace above all is well known...

from Heroes vol. I no. 4

"A Telmori tribe lives in the Hills of Billiz in Aggar."

We all know what good neighbors Telmori make...

My contention was that the SDT include these "other forces" within their own ranks. Your opinion is apparently different.
