I'd think so too. I think the Esrolians get beeswax from their own bees (the Sartarites of course keep bees also, for the mead if nothing else), but also from giant darkness insects from the Shadow Plateau.

Hmm... There's rape of course, for oil. That grows even in Southern Finland.

It doesn't seem that Dara Happan, somehow... except. Parhaps it does. One could see a connection with Lodril and Mineral Oil.
