God question

I used the most excellent clan generator to make a PC clan (the "Tarkali") for some Con stuff I want to run this year. Among the other nice surprises the generator coughed up was the presence of "Argan Argar" among the "Other Popular Gods" of the Tarkali clan.

Now, I have no problem coming up with reasonings for this, myths, and wonderful plot complications. (The few Tarkali Argan Argar initiates and devotees are undoubtedly part of the fabled "Argan Argar Chain" of the old RQ days.) But I realized while paging through the Glorantha book that Argan Argar is the troll name for a great spirit in their tradition; surely most non-Issarian Heortlings wouldn't even know that name. They'd call him something else, like calling the mother of trolls Deloradella instead of Kyger Litor.

Remembering that AA was numbered among the "Husband-Protectors" of Ernalda, I refered to Thunder Rebels' thorough treatment of the Earth Mother, and tried to find a reference that would give me the Heortling name of Argan Argar. In the section on the "Vingkotling Age" (TR page 146) I found a list of them; among the familiar names was "Dojor the Black". My question, then, is this: is "Dojor the Black" the Heortling god-name for Argan Argar the Great Spirit? Or am I asking the wrong question? Would this be misapplied worship?

Thanks,
Roland Volz
