Greased practise weapons just before weapon-training (before we get into arguments about using real weapons for practise, this was before they were all adults).
Most other stuff has either been petty thievery or directed against outsiders: assisting in cattle-raids, that sort of thing.
(Or it's been at the level that would get him lynched if he'd been caught).
