Yes. There would be many stories where King Kodig or some Vingkotling hero was directly aided by the Thunder Brothers. For example when the Four Brothers waged war on Dara Happa in the Lastralgorssaga, they were accompanied by the Thunder Brothers. Orlanth himself was the protector of the Vingkotlings and would intercede directly on their behalf.

This sort of thing would happen in the Gods War - gods could directly aid and accompany their favorite mortals. With the coming of Time and the Great Compromise, such things are much more complicated.
