Thank you. I'm sure this will come up in play.

One of the litter is a bit of an intellectual, and is actually planning for them to make famous deeds, and get worshipped. The whole shebang.

I suspect the "sign" they would pick for themselves wouldn't necessarily effect the rune they would receive at all? The runes are representations of cosmic forces arterall, and in this case I suspect the rune would take it's shape when their lives and great deeds are done.
