However, it is certainly one of the tasks of a Judge to make sure that the evils of God Learnerism do not return.
/// And boy do they make sure of it ! But they are not monolithic in attitude. Most act out of good intentions (and hell is paved with them, as we say in French). Some are fanatics, some are extra-cautious and "shoot before asking questions". Others try sincerely to gauge actions and intents before passing Judgement. But remember, Theoblanc says "HOLD TO THE BOOK". If it's not in the Book (the SAB), you're in trouble. And Joy is not. Neither is inter-caste mobility.

/// I'm absolutely sure the rokari Judges feel sincerely that way. That's what makes them so scary. They can be absolutely merciless "for the greater good". In my Seshnela, they jump on the slightest manifestation of free will outside the Book and stamp on it as hard as they can. "Better safe than sorry" is their motto. Individuals do not matter, only the Law and Society as a whole does. It leads to a lot of trampled and torn lives, simmering resentment of whole communities, silent -sometimes noisy - resistance to the Church's oppression, etc. Which all make for damn good roleplaying, whatever side you pick !

The rokari will soon, as you might have guessed, play an important role in my Fay Jee campaign. BTW, thanks to y'all for all these colorful, powerful and contradictory ideas about rokari celebrations : I'm pretty sure my players are going to experience intense moments trying to bring the local rokari diocese to heel !
