I knew there was something about lunar secret agencies in ILH 1 (p. 11).
Besides the one I've already listed, there are two more empire-spanning
intelligence agencies :
- the Enthelatosium, part of the Imperial Magical University, in charge of
military intelligence (long-range recon) and strange occurences ("lunar NSA")
- the Bearer of Good News, in charge of espionage and subversion OUTSIDE the
Empire (the "lunar CIA", the Spoken Word being the "lunar FBI"). Turf fights
between the Spoken Word and the Bearers is especially intense in the Provinces :
both agencies can claim them as part of their turf.
All non-imperial sponsored agencies are called "Instrumentalities of Mandate".
