The Iron Man is not worshipped in the Paps. The Axe Sisters are. The Praxians can tolerate strange non-chaotic cults being worshipped in ruins that nobody wants. Their holiest places are another matter.

That may no longer be the case

Given that the Romans saw Wotan as Mercury and Thor as Hercules, saying the Axe Sisters worship Babeester Gor is little more than a trivial observation. At another level, the Axe Sisters and the Babeester Gori cannot participate in each others rituals (primarily because one is a product of Ernaldan mythology while the other is a spirit of the Paps). Both would recognize that the other does not worship their deity.

Babeester Gor is not interested in converts - she is interested in vengeance. She finds her worshippers from among the Orlanthi woman who cannot be happy. Similarly Babeester Gor has no interest in defending the Paps because to her, it is not really a holy earth spot. So generally ignoring the Axe Sister who wants to learn her holy secrets is the best outcome the Axe Sister can hope for.
