I'm guessing that this is the same as (or closely related to) 'Aldrya's Woe', the Dawn Age wars between the Mreli and Vrankali? But if so, interesting that is also destroyed an entire (presumably almost entirely Vronkali, given its cold Northern position) forest.

And interesting to compare this to the trollpak era maps. Less elves in Seshnela, central Ralios, central Fronela, but more elves in the Elder Wilds and just East of the Shan-shan.

The Redwood forest East of Dagori Inkarth isn't shown because it was wiped out prior to the Dawn?

        Absolutely -

Well, obviously - just didn't realise they were as far West as the other side of the Thunder Delta, into modern Karasal, in the Dawn. Though that is pretty clear on the trollpak era map.

Yes - that is a very Kralorela centric view of it though, and the relative numbers make it clear that there is a whole separate Kingdom of Ignorance culture at the dawn, who no doubt have their own, very different, version of events. And of all the human Dawn cultures, we know perhaps the least about them. Big pyramids, gladiatorial arenas, changable crypto-solar religion, and not much else. Pretty much our best source is the Black Sun writeup in Troll Pak, and no doubt lots has changed since then.
