There's a bit more detail in Missing Lands:

950 a scholar writes a book proving the Elves of Enkloso are extinct, which with hindsight was turned out to be an exagerration - they were obviously quietly plotting something.

The False Gods revolt appears to be more than a one off event - more like a long process that started in 901, or a bit earlier, and pretty much continued several generations until the Lord of the World's Knowledge gets pwned by elves, gods of the lascerdans, swarms of trollkin and other vengeance seeking elder races.

The Closing hits the whole Umathelan coastline around 960.It had some dramatic effects in Fonrit - ships of the dead, rivers invading the land, pillars of water, etc. I see no reason not to have similar events in Umathela. I wonder what the Umathelans would have thought of the Closing on its way from Jrustela in 950, and taking 10 years to reach them. I terrifying ten years of incoming doom for coastal people who rely on the sea, not helped by the dragonship attacks.

Also interesting to speculate what was happening to, for example, a ship in Teshnos in 950 as the Closing crawls along the Genertelan coast. The Captain might try to sail south in Earth season, then West along the coas tof Pamaltela, only to meet the Closing coming at him from the North, and be driven to land in Umathela.

An interesting time!
