I presume the dominant elves are the ones that do. Those big sorts of disputes were resolved long ago.

And IIRC, eucalypts like Mountain Ash do prefer fire for propagation. These are IMG found in Vralos.

Again, I think the dominant aldryami are the ones that have the forest tuned the way they like it.

This does suggest plots where groups of aldryami do encourage shaking things up with new megafauna. Sadly for the humans involved, these plots would be unfolding over a rather long time scale.
