Spring Virgin

Voria, called Spring's Handmaiden, was born of Yelm and Ernalda, begat in the joy of the underworld after the coming of the Lightbringers. Her appearance each year alerts the crop goddesses to awake after their winter's slumber.

Voria is a goddess of new beginnings, youth, and innocence. She is mostly worshipped by children and those seeking a propitious start in a venture. Every large Earth temple contains a shrine to her.

Voria is always portrayed as a youthful (prepubescent or adolescent) human or Elf woman, always appearing barefoot.

Initiates

Anyone old enough to speak, who has never been a member of another cult or enterred adolescence may become an initiate of Voria's cult. No other requirements need be met. When another cult is joined, this cult must be left behind. Initiates are granted no magic.

Priestesses

A candidate for Priestess of Voria must be an adult female virgin who has never been a member of another cult. Voria grants her priestesses little magic, and even that is not very powerful except during the first week of Spring.

Associate Cults

Voria is an especial favorite of Asrelia, Babeester Gor, Ernalda, Maran Gor, and Ty Kora Tek. Her cult receives no magic from them, but whenever her cult has been threatened these goddesses have risen to her aid.
