That's not quite how I see it. Wizardry schools typically have two or three runes, and you ought to be able to augment spells from your grimoires with the appropriate rune if you have it. Sure, it's not an affinity - the spells are more specific, and aren't acquired in the same way - but, rule mechanically, the basic rune is still there as an augment.

Now, if you're talking the actual preachers, rather than what HQ1 would have called adepts, sure; they do just use the Law rune, generally speaking. Many of them, especially among the more hardline Rokari, would indeed, reject the use of their other runes as being a Naughtiness.
