Why do you say this is the default? That wasn't my impression at all, though I confess I haven't read the thing from cover to cover in anal detail yet. (My current topic of ponderation is: what is the Deep Significance of the particular rune attached to each Affinity?) It may be true in the world, but I think the implication was that it wouldn't be so of PCs.

That seems fair comment, broadly speaking. Most 'specialists', though, would simply be 'Worshippers' of Orlanth, and Devotees of their main god. Hero cults are probably a different case again, though: Breken is, I'd think, an Orlanth the Warrior hero (i.e., 'sub') cult, so one could argue that Morden is essentially an OtW devotee, with some hero-cult bolt-ons. (Maybe an extra Affinity, but most especially the heroforming ritual preparation.)
